Telehealth Information

What is Telehealth?
Telehealth is a video call through our medical software app, Physitrack.

Is it easy to use?
Yes! You can use it either on your laptop or smartphone, it’s as easy as pressing a button. We will send you further instructions after your booking confirmation.

How much will it cost?
As we understand that a virtual consultation isn’t the same as having hands-on treatment, our consultations will be “NO charge” for ACC patients and half of the price of the usual consultation for private patients.

What benefit will I get out of it?
Although we can’t physically do anything, we can ask you specific questions and have a look at your mobility and any special testing to give you a diagnosis of what we think your injury is. We can also advise on self-treatment techniques and any rehabilitation that you can do at home. Ongoing, we believe it’s important to touch base on a regular basis, to check that things are improving, answer any questions that you may have, check/modify your home exercises depending on your progress, and make sure you keep doing your rehabilitation regularly to improve~

How long until you will be open again?
As per the Prime Minister’s announcement on 23 March, New Zealand will be elevated to Risk Level 4 for the next 4 weeks. We therefore hope to be up and running again around 22 April 2020. However this may change, and we will endeavour to communicate regularly via email, our website, and our Facebook and Instagram pages. For continued updates and health advice for COVID-19, please see the Ministry of Health website and the COVID-19 homepage.

We thank you for your ongoing support during this difficult time. Please stay safe, look after each other, and we’ll see you back at our clinics as soon as we can.
